Welcome to Hammond & Co. We are Chartered Certified Accountants based in Wimborne, Dorset.

We provide tax advice and accountancy services in Wimborne and the surrounding areas of Poole and Bournemouth for individuals and small businesses.

We have a flexible approach to work, so if you need to see an accountant outside of normal office hours, we’re available evenings and weekends.

Training	We help you acquire the skills to manage your own finances (bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, etc). It's important that you have a certain minimum that you are able to do yourself to keep on top of things. Whether that work is performed by you, us or a bookkeeper doesn't matter, but it should be done.	This may be non-existent. Typically, other firms are happy to just do everything for you, often after the end of your accounting period. You’ll get little or no feedback on the state of your books and records. This can lead to higher accountancy fees, falling foul of the taxman and penalties

We embrace technology, enabling us to offer services via cloud technology, so you get your information promptly. You can get documents to us via cloud technology, email or the good old fashioned method of dropping by. Specifically, we are Xero certified and offer both Xero and Quickbooks Online bookkeeping packages.

If you’re just starting out, we’ll handhold you on those first steps from setting up your business, getting a bookkeeping system in place and reminding you about deadlines so you don’t have to worry. We won’t wait to be asked for advice, we’ll give it freely when we see a better way of doing things.
